UNT offices moving to, from and within the Hurley Administration Building

Several offices have recently moved or are planning to move this semester to, from or within the Hurley Administration Building.

Several moves related to the administration building have already taken place.

  • The Toulouse School of Graduate Studies dean's office moved in June from Room 206 in the administration building to Room 354 of the Eagle Student Services Center.

  • The UNT System general counsel staff moved in early August from Room 202 of the administration building to Room 318 of the Gateway Center. Richard Rafes, who remains in the position of UNT System general counsel on an interim basis, will stay in the administration building with staff working with him under his new title of senior vice president for administration. When a person is hired to fill the role of UNT System general counsel, that person's office will be in the Gateway Center.

  • The Office of Equity and Diversity moved in mid-August from Room 121 of the administration building to Room 175 of the administration building.

  • The Office of Institutional Research, formerly the University Planning Office, moved in late August from Room 309 of the Gateway Center to Room 121 of the administration building.

  • The Office of Compliance moved in late August from Room 210 of the administration building to Room 309 of the Gateway Center.

More administration building-related moves are planned in the near future.

  • The Office of the President is scheduled to move in mid-September from Room 210 of the administration building to Room 201, the newly renovated suite formerly occupied by the UNT chancellor and president.

  • The offices of the senior vice president for administration and the director of contracts administration/director of equal opportunity are scheduled to move in mid-September from Room 202 of the administration building to Room 210 of the administration building.

  • The office of the vice president for research and technology transfer is scheduled to move in mid-September from Room 206 in the administration building to its temporary home in Room 202 of the administration building while renovation work is done. The office is scheduled to move back to Room 202 in late October.

  • The offices of the vice president for student development and the director for development and planning for student development are scheduled to move later this fall from Rooms 319 and 322A in the University Union to Room 202 of the administration building.
