Alfred F. Hurley, UNT System Chancellor Emeritus and UNT President Emeritus, holds up a replica of the mace he carried when he was inaugurated as UNT's 12th president. Hurley was presented with the replica during a farewell gala honoring him and his wife, Johanna, on Aug. 24.
