UNT, Denton remember Sept. 11

UNT and the city of Denton have planned special gatherings and events to help members of the community memorialize Sept. 11, 2001.

Denton

The Day of Remembrance Ceremony. 8-9 a.m., Denton Courthouse on the Square. Denton church and university bells will toll, signaling a moment of silence. Visit www.cityofdenton.com/pages/9112002.cfm for more details.

UNT

Listening Tables and Remembrance Wall. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Shrader Pavilion. Sponsored by the UNT chapter of the National Coalition Building Institute.

Partners for Peace: Sept. 11 Memoriam. 11:30 a.m., Shrader Pavilion. Sponsored by UNT's Student Government Association.

"Sept. 11 Remembered" Memorial Concert. 8 p.m., Murchison Performing Arts Center. Free admission, but reservations are required. Call 369-7802.
