Several faculty members were honored at the annual Faculty Convocation Aug. 21. The awards and recipients included:

President's Council University Teaching Awards — John S. Baen, professor of finance, insurance, real estate and law; and James Roberts, professor of physics.

President's Council University Service Award — Charldean Newell, Regents Professor of public administration.

PDI Fellows, College of Business Administration — Mary B. Curtis, assistant professor of accounting; and Mazhar Siddiqi, associate professor of finance, insurance, real estate and law.

Toulouse Scholar Award — Jeffry Kelber, professor of chemistry.

Decker Scholar Award — Daniel Mauldin, Regents Professor of mathematics.

International Education Award — Rollie Schafer, vice provost for research.

J.H. Shelton Excellence in Teaching Award — John S. Baen, professor of finance, insurance, real estate and law.

University Forum on Teaching, Learning and Assessment's Pursuit of Excellence in Teaching Awards — C. Melinda Levin, assistant professor of radio, television and film; and Stephen L. Poe, associate professor of finance, insurance, real estate and law.

Charn Uswachoke International Development Fund Awards — Alan B. Albarran, chair of the Department of Radio, Television and Film; Jeff M. Allen, associate professor of technology and cognition; Lloyd C. Fitzpatrick, professor of biological sciences; Mitch Land, associate professor of journalism and director of the Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism; Madhav Pappu, assistant professor of marketing; Alexander C.
