* The post-baccalaureate classification was implemented for Coordinating Board purposes in summer 1992 (after internal statistics were printed) and appears in the Fact Book beginning in fall 1993 to more clearly define the student who holds at least a bachelor's degree, but who is not currently accepted into an approved graduate program. Students accepted into a master's program are classified as "master's" and students accepted into a doctoral program are classified as "doctoral" with the following exception: students with a bachelor's degree who are accepted into a doctoral program are classified as "master's" until they have completed 30 hours toward the doctorate. The post-baccalaureate category generates master's level funding for graduate semester credit hours.Source: SIMS files, official 12-class day data. |
