I have relatives that graduated from here and the more they talked to me about it the more interested I became. While researching the university online I found several things that drew me into UNT. I heard it had one of the best Psychology Departments and since it's my major, that helped a lot. Another thing was the tuition which didn't seem ridiculously high like some other universities. University of Memphis is not a good school/university to attend I am not impressed with the education, and the way everything is ran in Memphis. My overall impression was that UNT is a comfortable school to learn, grow, and thrive. I found that it housed a very friendly atmosphere. So obviously this was not the reasons that I chose not to attend at this time, I just decided to go to a community college for 2 years so that I could get my basics done for a cheaper price. There is not any class offered at the UNT System Center that I can take this semester. My impression of UNT is good. Xxxx at the admissions (the System Center) helped me a lot. The only thing that concerns me is about the scholarships at UNT. For example the PTK scholarship is offered at UTA but I didn't see anything about this. PTK is a honors society for students with 3.5 GPA or higher. There is also a transfer scholarship.
