Boarding e-trans:Forty-seven percent of the students said they do not board e-trans. The remaining 53% of the students indicated that they boarded at the following locations: Location of Percentage:
Location of Residence:Of the students surveyed, 23% indicated that they lived in the residence halls. Fourteen percent indicated that they did not live in a residence hall, but did live within one mile of the campus. Forty-seven percent indicated that they lived more than 10 miles from campus; 11% of these travel more than 40 miles to reach the Denton Campus. For faculty, only 11% live 2 miles or less from campus, 43% live 6-20 miles away and 19% live more than 20 miles. Weekend & Night Travel:Thirty-seven percent of students and 43% of faculty and staff surveyed said that they would use public transportation to commute to the Metroplex on the weekends.
