Official Academic Credentials

UNT requires that all applicants for University studies submit official academic credentials. Failure to include all schools may result in cancellation of application and withdrawal from the University.

Follow the links below to the see what constitutes an official document.

Bachelor Freshman applicants are required to submit official academic transcripts listing all completed courses and grades from their Secondary/High School.

Bachelor Transfer applicants must submit official academic transcripts from each university or college they have attended. If the student has more than 30 hours of transfer work, UNT does not require the Secondary or High School transcripts. For non-US transcripts, we also need a syllabus to determine transfer credit.

Masters applicants need to submit all official transcripts and degrees from all universities or colleges attended, but Secondary/High School marks are not needed.

Doctoral applicants need to submit all official transcripts and degrees from all universities or colleges attended, but Secondary/ High School marks are not needed.

IELI-only applicants do not need to submit academic credentials.
