All International applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of $75.  Payment should be made in US funds in the form of a cashier’s check, postal money order, bank draft, or personal checks drawn on a U.S. bank. Country-specific details regarding acceptable official documents are available here

3. Proof of English Language proficiency

UNT requires proof of English Language Proficiency for all international students. There are several ways to meet UNT’s English Language Proficiency policy. For a complete list of English Language proficiency alternatives and tests that are accepted by UNT, please click here

4. Proof of Financial Support

Before UNT can prepare an I-20 for you, UNT must receive important documents from you. U.S. government regulations require UNT to receive official certification from an international student’s bank, financial institution, or sponsor, verifying that sufficient funds are available. Financial Support requirements are available here

5. Deadlines

Applications should be sent to International Admissions three to six months before the beginning of intended term so there will be enough time to process admissions and immigration paperwork.
