International applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency when applying to North Texas. For International students, this is most commonly demonstrated through TOEFL. However, we accept more methods of English proficiency than most other 4-year universities in the U.S. because of the international experience of our employees and their knowledge of international curriculums. See the list of acceptable measures for more information.
International Admissions is delighted to offer paper based or Institutional TOEFL test to applicants and to the public. Test administrators are trained full time International Admissions staff. The test result is accepted immediately and unconditionally for admissions purpose to UNT.
