High-advanced English language training
• Reading and vocabulary development
• Writing — abstracts, summaries, research papers
• Discussion, presentation, public speaking
• Research skills and techniques
Intensive, one-semester courses
• Fall & Spring semesters — 10 class hours weekly/15 weeks
• Summer semester — 20 class hours weekly/8 weeks
Enrollment in UNT graduate class in Fall/Spring semesters

Admission requirements for GPC
1. Current UNT TOEFL requirement OR Application to and completion of  UNT/Intensive English Language Institute Level 6
2. Conditional admission to a UNT graduate program
How to apply - Send the following:
1. UNT / IELI Application form, completed and signed.
2. Application fee:
  a. IELI only $75
  b. GPC + UNT $150
  c. Conditional Admission $150
3. Sponsor’s statement and Bank statement showing required financial  resources for 9- month academic year
  a. IELI Only - $17,820
  b. GPC + UNT - $17,820 + 1 UNT graduate course and fees
  c. Conditional Admission - $20,800
4. Transcripts from the schools that you have attended
  a. High School graduate: high school exams for 4 years
  b. University attendance and/or graduation: transcripts from all universities attended
5. For Admission to GPC, show English language proficiency in ONE of these ways:
  a. Apply to UNT-IELI and complete Level 6
  b. Send TOEFL scores of 213 Computer/550 Paper
iBT - 79, IELTS 6.5 band overall

If admitted to GPC:
  Students entering with TOEFLwill receive an I-20 Form from UNT for the student’s master’s or doctoral program
  Students entering with NO TOEFLwill receive an I-20 Form from UNT for IELI, GPC and the student’s master’s or doctoral program
