About ISRC Connections

Our Faculty

The ISRC is a partnership among business, government, not-for-profits, and the university. One objective of this partnership is to formulate an effective strategy for meeting the rapidly changing information technology demands of the 21st century.

The ISRC provides a regular forum for intellectual interaction. It sponsors workshops, executive round tables, symposiums, conferences, and IS/IT directed research. The ISRC also serves as a window from which the outside world can view the activities and unique problems of the academic community. At the same time, the Center provides the academic community access to "real-world problems" and organizations.

ISRC participants share ideas with peers, meet with leading practitioners and academicians, share in the results of Center-sponsored research, and gain knowledge from ISRC sponsored programs and seminars. Subscriptions from member organizations and research grants are the primary funding source for the ISRC. Faculty members of the BCIS Department of the University of North Texas serve as the primary researchers for the ISRC, as do other UNT faculty members as well as other experts.
