Janis Swenson Taylor
('84 M.S.), Dubuque, Iowa, received her doctorate in higher education
from the University of Iowa in August 2000. In her two years working
at Clarke College in Dubuque, she has designed and implemented the
first online alternative preparation program for teachers in Iowa.
Bentonville, Ark., is a family practice physician
in Bentonville and Bella Vista, Ark. He's been married for
35 years and says he is looking forward to 35
more. His daughter, Camille, is the city attorney for Bentonville.
Steadman did his premed work at UNT.
Garland, accepted a position with the business office of Garland
Dallas, a partner in the law firm Howie & Sweeney, has become
a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Fellowship in
the legal association is extended by invitation only and limited
to 1 percent of the total lawyer population of any state.
(M.B.A., '78 Ph.D.), Denton, is the new chair of the School
of Management at Texas Woman's University.
San Antonio, an art teacher at Woodridge Elementary School in the
Alamo Heights ISD, was named Elementary Teacher of the Year for
Education Service Center Region 20.
