Frank W. Hardesty Jr.,
Manchester, Ga., retired after 33 years with the Roosevelt Warm
Springs Institute for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs, Ga. He had
worked as a rehabilitation counselor and as the on-the-job training
Spring, won a silver medal in the Texas Basketball Senior Olympics
Championships. His team qualified for the national championships
in June in Baton Rouge. Reitzel has been active in YMCA basketball
and church leagues for the past 40 years. He played in league games
with two of his sons, and he says that if he can stay on the courts
for nine more years, he looks forward to playing with his grandson.
Jack H. Millaway (74
Ed.D.), Carrollton, retired from the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD
after 37 years. He served as a fifth-grade teacher, an elementary
school counselor, a special education counselor, a coordinator of
guidance and counseling, director of student services and director
of planning, research and development.
Thomas L. Minor,
Georgetown, retired after 35 years as an educator. He first worked
in the Peace Corps and later in Illinois.
