Robert E. Lair Jr.
, Columbus, N.C., retired after a 34-year career as a United Methodist pastor. He earned four academic degrees, was a Merrill Fellow at Harvard and had a 37-year military career during which he received 18 awards and decorations.

Athens, retired after teaching business education for 25 years at Athens High School and is now a real estate agent. She would love to hear from friends at

Michael Hubbard, Cedarburg, Wis., serves as a clinical specialist for BCI Inc., a biomedical manufacturer in Waukesha, Wis. His daughter, Bethany, recently graduated from UNT with a B.F.A. in interior design.

Otilia Sánchez, Round Rock, was appointed by the Austin City Council to serve a two-year term on the Commission on Immigrant Affairs. Sánchez also serves as a member-at-large of the board of directors of the Houston Center for Photography and as secretary of the Cultural Preservation and Graves Protection Association.
