Charles E. Worley
('74 M.Ed.), Grand Island, Neb., has been appointed regional minister for the Upper Mississippi Region of the North American Baptist Conference. He oversees churches in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

Ken Nelson
, New York, N.Y., served as a judge for the 2004 Miss Texas Pageant in Fort Worth in July. At North Texas, he produced the 1970 and 1971 Miss Denton Pageants as a member of the Denton Jaycees and was later elected to the Miss Texas Pageant board of directors. He has lived in New York for 23 years and is a corporate trainer for Verizon Corp.

Aaron Bonds
, Corpus Christi, spoke at a Black Coaches Association high school coaches seminar in April in San Antonio. He works with special education students at Robstown High School and is a motivational speaker and longtime volunteer with Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation and Special Olympics. He was a starting linebacker at North Texas.

T. Carey Kinder, Longview, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

Mary Gibbins Weatherford, Hartley, has retired after teaching for 23 years. She is married and has five children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She says she would love to hear from friends from Kerr Hall, Bruce Hall and the University Church of Christ Bible Chair at

Don Glanden, Wilmington, Del., has been promoted to full professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he is chair of graduate jazz studies and the piano department.

Rhonda Kelly Detro (M.Ed.), Celina, has retired from the Celina High School/ Community Library, where she was the district director. She was previously a teacher and librarian for Allen ISD. She and her husband, Gary, have two children, Grant and Kara, and a new daughter-in-law, Jenna.
