Beverly Ball, Abilene, who coaches swimming at McMurry University, was honored with a banquet in June for 55 years of coaching. She completed 49 years coaching tennis and later swimming in the Abilene ISD. She then developed the swimming program at McMurry. She is also a member of the Big Country Coaches Hall of Fame.
Nathan B. Miron (’56 M.M.), Kenwood, Calif., taught public school music in New Mexico and later earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Houston. That led him to northern California, where he spent more than 25 years doing pioneer work in behavior modification in a state hospital. He married in 1971 and has three children. He still takes courses in piano performance and is the author of a number of books and a column on amateur astronomy that appears regularly in the Kenwood Press and elsewhere. Jackie Hepp Hart, Mesquite, worked for a number of years at the DP&L Co. in Dallas and made and sold jewelry and other products. She was a music education major at North Texas in 1958-59 and currently sings in two choirs.
