First-Year Experience

What is FYE?

The First-Year Experience (FYE) is designed with the new student in mind and carries the experience of orientation throughout the critical first year of college.  FYE provides connections to resources and people throughout campus, helping new students with the personal, intellectual, and cultural transition to the North Texas community.

Who participates in FYE?

Any new student attending the University of North Texas is a part of the First-Year Experience program.  You are encouraged to utilize the many programs and resources available to you to ease your transition.
