The Transfer and Transition Center is organized to help transfer students transition to life at UNT. We provide students with assistance and connections to campus resources to better ensure a successful transition to campus. Research shows that students succeed in college by becoming active participants in campus life, taking responsibility for their learning, and for by utilizing campus resources. The T&TC is available to assist you in your successful journey at UNT.
Transfer students are very important to UNT. This past fall (2007), transfer students accounted for over half our new student population. Each fall we welcome over 3,500 new transfer students on our campus and our goal is to be a resource to them all.
The T&TC offers programs such as Transfer Orientation, Tau Sigma (transfer student honorary organization), Transfer Ambassadors (transfer student mentor program), Transfer Success Workshop Series, and Transfer Talkbacks.
In addition, this site is designed to provide helpful links to many other resources, services and programs available to you.
