FRESHMAN FALL ORIENTATION

 

Freshman students who will begin studying at UNT during Fall Semester 2008 must attend one of the following sessions:

Session 1 - June 18-20, 2008
Session 2 - June 22-24, 2008
Session 3 - June 29-July 1, 2008
Session 4 - July 7-9, 2008(NOTE: Printed incorrectly on mailed registration form as June 7-9)
Session 5 - July 16-18, 2008
Session 6 - July 20-22, 2008
Session 7 - July 27-29, 2008
Session 8 - July 30-August 1, 2008
Session 9 - August 18-19, 2008

Registration for these sessions are now available.

There are 3 ways to register for Orientation:

TESTING INFORMATION

An important component of Orientation is placement and credit testing. A variety of testing opportunities will occur during each Orientation session. Please review the following information and be prepared to perform your best on one or more of the examinations.

Math Placement
Foreign Language
Music Theory

PARENT/FAMILY ORIENTATION

Parent Orientation runs concurrently with Freshman Orientation.  Parents interested in this program can register Online.

ORIENTATION CONFIRMATIONS

All Orientation reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is limited for all programs and submission of registration materials DOES NOT guarantee placement in the desired session. Please do not make travel arrangements until your Orientation reservation has been confirmed.

ORIENTATION HOUSING

Part of the orientation experience is living in the residence halls. Students attending orientation are required to spend both nights in the residence hall.
