Dr. Rozdilsky's area of expertise is the developmental reconstruction phase of disaster recovery and the relationship between physical redevelopment and social redevelopment after disaster.  He also has interests in land use planning, urban studies, and system dynamics modeling.  His primary research concerns recovery from volcanic disasters, specifically the post-disaster reconstruction taking place on the Eastern Caribbean island of Montserrat. Prior to coming to UNT, Dr. Rozdilsky served as a Land Use Agent with Michigan State University Extension and the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission in Lansing, Michigan where he developed regional hazard mitigation plans.
