Scholarships
and
Selection of Student Second Vice President(s)
The
University of North Texas Chapter of
Phi Kappa Phi gives
two scholarships annually to an outstanding undergraduate
and graduate student. If
you are a member of PKP (or soon to be) and would like to apply for such
a scholarship, please review the scholarship descriptions and download the attached
application.
The national office of PKP also offers 100's of scholarships each year. Scholarship descriptions are available on our local website. For more detail on these please go to scholarships on the national PKP website.
The PKP-UNT Chapter works closely with the UNT Office for Nationally Competitive Scholarships to assist students in applying for national awards. All applicants are strongly encouraged to contact Dr. James Duban, Director of that office, for assistance in preparing the application materials. Dr. Duban can be contacted at jduban@unt.edu.
One
graduate student and one undergraduate student serve as
Second Vice Presidents for the local UNT chapter. This requires
attending one PKP board meeting each semester and assisting
with other activities as time allows (not overly demanding). If
you are a member of PKP (or soon to be) and would like to apply to be a
Second Vice President for the local chapter, please download
the attached
application.
