SUBJECT: REFERENCES TO DEAN OF STUDENTS                  APPLICABILITY: STUDENTS

In 1990 the positions of vice president for Student Affairs and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs were created and the former Dean and Associate Dean assumed these new roles. In addition, the position of Dean of Students was continued. Many policies in these volumes refer to the "Dean of Students." For most matters, the reference should not be interpreted as "Vice President for Student Affairs."
