Students applying for and receiving financial assistance must meet both quantitative and qualitative measures of academic progress as required by Federal and State guidelines and as defined in Operational Policies within the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. Students who fail to meet quantitative and/or qualitative measures for an academic year may be granted one additional academic year of financial assistance. As required by Federal and State guidelines, undergraduate students become ineligible for financial aid after registering for or attempting 186 semester credit hours. Continuing graduate students must maintain a 2.75 g.p.a. to be considered "in good academic standing" for financial aid purposes. Scholarships have varying quantitative and qualitative criteria for renewability, which is typically set by the donor. Reviewed with no changes* |
