President's Diversity Council
Mission: The Diversity Council will advance the university's efforts to conceptualize, outline, evaluate, encourage, and promote diversity and inclusion as institutional and educational resources. It is committed to building a university-wide scope to meet the needs of a progressively diverse campus that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusion as core values, permeating every facet of campus life and purpose. The council acknowledges a very comprehensive and all-encompassing concept of diversity that includes race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability status, socioeconomic status, sexual identity, sexual orientation, religion and regional or national origin.
