Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients and Instructions:
1 lb. 8 oz. acorn squash
- 1. Preheat conventional oven to 375 degrees.
- 2. Place about 1/4 inch of water in a sheet pan. Place squash halves, cut side down,
on a baking sheet. Bake 35 minutes, or until tender. After cooking,
carefully cut stem and end off of squash halves (this is so squash
can sit flat on a surface when skin side is down).
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 1/3 tablespoon + ½ teaspoon
Oleo margarine, pure vegetable, red label
- 3. Carefully slice squash half in half again and place in appropriate
serving line pan.
- 4. Melt oleo and brown sugar together. Brush
the flesh of the squash with the mixture.
