President Bataille met Sam Dibrell (left) and Giovanni Vizza at her inaugural tour alumni reception in San Antonio. Both young men have signed letters-of-intent to play football at UNT in Fall 2007. Dibrell was a wide receiver at Alamo Heights High School and Vizza was a quarterback. Both were recruited by UNT's new head coach, Todd Dodge.
Todd Dodge, head football coach, will lead the Mean Green out against Oklahoma Sept. 1 for the first game of the 2007 season.
UNT then will play SMU Sept. 8 before playing Florida Atlantic for its home and conference opener at Fouts Field Sept. 22. Other highlights include a game against Navy at Fouts Field Nov. 10.
