UNT President Gretchen M. Bataille and Sheryl Smith Kappus, president of Hill College.
UNT and Hill College recently joined forces to aid Hill College students seeking the timely completion of their bachelor's degree requirements at UNT.
Signing the comprehensive agreement in a special ceremony on campus were President Gretchen M. Bataille and Hill College President Sheryl Smith Kappus.
This articulation/admission program facilitates the smooth transfer of Hill College students - who meet the university's admissions requirements - to UNT.
As a result of the agreement, students at Hill College can apply for an "Eagle Bound" program that both enriches their experience at Hill and, upon successful completion, guarantees their admission to UNT.
Hill College also has agreed to provide space for the delivery of UNT upper-level and graduate courses in its facilities.
This will give UNT its first close-to-home instructional site for students in Hill, Johnson, Bosque, Somervell and Hood Counties (all are in the Hill College service area). Hill has campuses in Hillsboro, Cleburne, Glen Rose and Clifton.
In addition, UNT will work closely with Hill in providing advising services and assistance in the implementation of a computer facilitated advising system at the college.
