Gist: find some data and perform any of the analyses we've discussed, interpret results

For MR it will have to be something from the extended MR discussion, rest is fair game for standard fare.

Write up:
Intro: Describe data, why chosen, what your model is
Method: may be fairly short if you lack of knowledge of the data, but do try to find data that you can get at least a little information regarding
Results: analysis should include various bits discussed in your readings and in the notes pertaining to the analysis.  I would like one table and one (good) graph.  Numbers should be APA style (e.g. F(5,84) = 3.9, p = .003, eta-squared = .10)
Conclusion: just a short wrap up

The manner in which I'm thinking of this should really not be overly taxing in terms of the writeup.  Essentially you might take a 'more involved critique' approach- basic outline of the 'study', description of sample and measures, results (obviously with more detail), note any problems with analysis implementation, basic wrapup.  Not counting tables and graphs I could see most of it being accomplished in about 3 pages, but variable depending on the analysis chosen.  Please limit it to 5 pages.  This is just a demonstration of skills and understanding, not a journal article or thesis.
