Listserv is an email list that feeds information to subscribers via email. You can also share your tips or new ideas with other members of the list using this medium. In the following you can find the instructions of using this list. Please read *carefully* and save this message.
Instructions on using listserv:
1. Send an email message from the account you want your message be received to the following address:
listserv@unt.edu
with one line like this:
subs unt-rss yourfirstname yourlastname
You can leave the subject blank. For example

Cc :
Attchmnt:
Subject :
----- Message Text -----
subs unt-rss Karl Ho

2. You will receive two messages shortly, one of them giving the output of
your job (subscription), the other gives a list of commands on using the
listserv.
3. Note that *don't reply directly from the first mail* since it is sent
via the listserv request processing engine. If you want to post a message
to the whole list (the class including me), send a message to the
following address:
unt-rss@unt.edu
Then, all subscribers will receive your message. Once you have a sample
message, you can reply using this message with the FROM: field as
unt-rss@unt.edu .
Be aware that all messages you send to UNT-RSS will be forwarded to all
subscribers. So if you want to send email to a person but not anyone else, send it
using that person's email address.
