The Leon M. Liddell Scholarship in Library and Information Science

 

The Leon M. Liddell Scholarship was established in 2004 by Leon Liddell's estate. Leon Liddell was a law professor /law librarian. His estate is funding numerous scholarships at UNT and other universities.

 

Criteria:

To be eligible for consideration, an applicant for the scholarship must possess the following criteria:

  1. Be a graduate student
  2. Must be working toward a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in library or Information Science
  3. Preferably, the recipient should be a resident of or a former resident of Cooke County, Texas or Love County, Oklahoma
  4. Be a full-time or part-time student of the School of  Library and Information Science
