Project Introduction:This project is the result of a cooperative effort by graduate students in the Indexing and Abstracting class (SLIS 5205), Spring 1997, at the School of Library and Information Sciences, University of North Texas. |

Members of the team were assisted by Dr. Samantha Kelly Hastings and doctoral candidate Abby Goodrum. In fact, it is an extension of Abby's doctoral project entitled "Evaluation of Text-Based and Image-Based Representations for Moving Image Documents". |

The purpose of this project is to provide an alternative means of accessing (indexing) video clips. There are 12 video clips available, all with enviromental themes. These web pages contain the results of our video indexing project. |
