SLIS Village Alumni House

• Do you wish that you could have more personal contact with your faculty friends and fellow grads year round? 

We have the solution – The Alumni House of SLIS Village! 

With an active SLIS Alumni Society Membership you will be assigned a personal SLIS Village ID and password when you join the Alumni Society.  If you have lost or forgotten your ID and password, contact jcurtis@unt.edu. It is very important that you send your renewal in as soon as possible to maintain access to the Village. So no matter where your life may take you, you will always have a Home with SLIS.

• Where is SLIS Village? 

It is a part of the WebCT virtual learning environment. The Alumni Society has a link called the Alumni House which can be accessed through WebCT Vista.

• What can you do in our Alumni House?

 Talk with current and former SLIS students, visit with your favorite faculty, join a discussion group, meet new friends, learn of upcoming Alumni Society events, and email fellow Villagers.  The possibilities are endless.

Don’t restrict your visit to the special Alumni areas.  We encourage you to stroll throughout the Village – particularly, the SLIS Village Neighborhoods.  Here you may talk with students, faculty, and alumni by geographic area.
