Goals and Strategies
1. Student Success Programs will collaborate with all university stakeholders to encourage student participation in its events and activities.
Strategies:
- Providing opportunities for students to connect with peers within their class as well as other classifications.
- Involving parents and alumni in mentoring & student success, in general.
- Collaborating with members of the Denton community.
- Engaging campus community in creating opportunities for students to become aware of all services/programs UNT provides.
- Encouraging faculty and staff to play active roles in forming mentoring relationships with students.
2. Student Success Programs will promote the retention and timely graduation of all UNT students.
Strategies:
- Connecting students to class year.
- Connecting students to the larger university community.
3. Student Success Programs will help UNT students not only better understand themselves, but themselves in relation to others.

- Providing opportunities for students to identify and apply their strengths.
- Implementing programming based on the social change model to help develop well-rounded students.
4. Student Success Programs will support the inclusion and active engagement of parents in their student's college experience.
