Performing Arts Medicine Clinic

The Performing Arts Medicine Clinic is supervised by Bernard Rubin, DO, MPH. Dr. Rubin is a board-certified rheumatologist and co-director of the Texas Center for Music and Medicine. As such, musculoskeletal problems are a major focus of research and treatment at the Clinic. However, the entire faculty of the UNT Health Science Center is available for consultation and treatment encompassing the gamut of medical and surgical specialties.

UNT Health Science Center includes the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the School of Public Health, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and a Physician’s Assistant program. The Clinical Center trains medical students, PAs, in addition to graduate students from the UNT College of Music, to recognize and treat medical problems arising in performing artists.

Appointments, Billing, Directions

The Performing Arts Medicine Clinic charges for services and accepts most insurance. The Clinical Center is located on the 4th floor of the Patient Care Center, 855 Montgomery Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
