Apply for the Stars and Stripes Fund

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Stars & Stripes Fund is to provide financial assistance to military spouses, children of military families or soldiers who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas Dallas Campus, the future UNT Dallas.

The Stars & Stripes assistance program is open to military personnel who may have exceeded their GI Bill benefits or who are not eligible for the State of Texas’ Hazelwood Exemption, and former service members whose GI Bill benefits have expired. Children and spouses of servicemen and veterans are also eligible. Assistance is proportional to the unmet financial need directly related to the cost of their education. This assistance will apply to classes offered on-site at the Dallas Campus for academic programs offered by the Dallas Campus.  It will not cover UNT Denton or online courses, even if the courses are required as part of the student’s major.
