Student Ambassador Program
Each year the UNT Dallas Campus Student Services Office selects students from various backgrounds and majors who are interested in providing service to the UNT Dallas Campus and community.
What do Student Ambassadors do?
- Represent the university at special events
- Attend college fairs with
staff members
- Staff the Information Desk
- Attend monthly meetings
- Exhibit leadership potential
- Be in good standing with the university at all times
- Present exemplary behavior and a positive image reflected by their attitude, speech and dress
- Wear "Ambassador attire" when on duty
- Help with other
special projects related to recruitment.
What are some of the requirements?
- Have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA (undergraduate) or 3.0
GPA (graduate)
- Have attended at least one fall or spring semester at UNT Dallas
Campus
- Exhibit leadership potential and outgoing, friendly personality
- Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Be enrolled in at least one course at UNT Dallas Campus while serving as a Student Ambassador
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
When do Student Ambassadors work?
- Students work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year
- Work days
and times are flexible
- The pay rate is $8 per hour
