The University of North Texas at Dallas and the Student Development Office (SDO) are committed to preserving the privacy of UNT Dallas students, alumni and employers regarding electronic personal information. We operate computer systems that are developed by our technical staff and also partner with external organizations for our job listing/resume database and on-campus recruiting services. Information collected by us is used to provide tailored services to our users. It is also used to construct aggregate reports that assist us in program planning. This information, if shared is only shared in aggregate form.
Data collected for the SDO in-house systems is stored on UNT Dallas secured servers. Collection and access to student information is governed by campus and federal policy under the Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Job listing, on-campus recruiting, and resume services are provided through the NACElink Network, a web-based national recruiting system, the result of an alliance among the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), a nonprofit professional organization for career centers and employers, Employers Association, a nonprofit association of national employers, and Symplicity Corporation, an advanced technology provider for higher education and government. Jobs posted on the NACElink Network are not screened by the SDO or NACE before posting. Site users are urged to validate job postings and use caution and common sense when applying. Do not disclose Social Security number, credit card information, or bank account numbers to unknown employers.
