Almost 10 years ago, the University of North Texas pledged to build the first public university within the city limits of Dallas. With the support of city leaders, local chambers of commerce, state senators and state representatives, that dream is today becoming a reality.
The UNT Dallas Campus continues to grow. In fall 2008, 1876 students enrolled at the campus. Our full-time student equivalent number reached 815.4, a 32.2 percent increase over the previous fall semester. For the last five years, the campus has grown at an average of 16 percent from semester to semester.
Many of the students who are coming to the Dallas Campus need financial assistance to make it through college. Our generous scholarship funds really are eliminating barriers to success and are helping us fulfill our mission of raising the high school graduation and college-going rates among the young people of North Texas. At the UNT Dallas Campus, students can change their careers, their lives, and ultimately their world by changing their minds.
Would you consider helping the students that are already here and who will come in the future to better themselves through education? Our tuition rates are already among the lowest in the North Texas region. But for the campus to continue providing access to success, every supplemental gift given means less money derived from student fees and tuition to keep the campus moving forward.
We've created a convenient method for you to give securely online. Simply click the "Give to the UNT Dallas Campus" link on the left hand side of the screen and fill out the form. Thank you for your investment in our students.
