DALLAS – College students can receive an admission fee waiver and dinner by attending Admissions Night at the University of North Texas UNT Dallas from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 7.
The UNT UNT Dallas invites interested students to the event to learn more about the school. Applicants who attend, enroll in Summer 2009 or Fall 2009 and submit a complete application package will receive a waiver of the admission fee, which is normally $40 for undergraduate, $50 for graduate and $75 for international students.
Students must bring official transcripts from all colleges attended along with their completed application. A completed Security Affirmation Clearance Form also is required for paper applications only. Admission fees are waived only for students enrolling in the academic programs offered at the UNT Dallas, not the Denton campus.
Prospective students can meet faculty, speak to academic advisors, enjoy refreshments and learn about admissions, career services and financial aid and scholarships. For more information, contact the school’s recruitment and outreach office at 972-780-3642 or dallasrecruitment@unt.edu. The campus is located at 7300 Houston School Road, one mile north of I-20 and one mile east of I-35.
The UNT UNT Dallas operates under the authority of the University of North Texas in Denton, the state’s fourth largest university, and is a component institution of the University of North Texas System. The Campus currently offers junior-, senior- and graduate-level courses leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The Campus plans to become freestanding by 2010 and will be named UNT Dallas, the city’s first and only public university.
