DALLAS – The University of North Texas Dallas Campus will offer psychology courses for the first time during the fall and spring semesters of the 2008-2009 academic year. The courses are designed to meet local demand for classes that currently are not offered at area community colleges.
Psychology II (PSYCH 1650) is scheduled for both the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 semesters at the UNT Dallas Campus. The classes are the first freshman level courses offered at the campus.
Development Psychology (PSYCH 3620) will also be offered in the fall, followed by Introduction to Industrial Organizational Psychology (PSYCH 3520) in the spring.
Students who take psychology courses may use them as part of their coursework for already existing degree plans at the campus. Those programs include applied arts and sciences, sociology, and criminal justice.
