John Ellis Price is professor of accounting and vice provost of the University of North Texas (UNT) Dallas Campus. As vice provost, Dr. Price is the chief executive officer of the UNT Dallas Campus and also serves as the University of North Texas System's chief spokesperson in Dallas for the creation of the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Dr. Price has previously served as KPMG professor of taxation and chair of the department of accounting at the University of North Texas, professor and dean of the School of Business at Jackson State University, assistant professor of accounting at The University of Southern Mississippi, and as an internal revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Professor Price has also served two terms as a member of the Commissioner's Advisory Group for the Internal Revenue Service.

Professor Price received his bachelor of business administration and master of science degrees with a major in accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi and his Ph.D. in accounting in 1981 from the University of North Texas. Dr. Price is also a certified public accountant.

Dr. Price's research and publication interests are in the areas of tax compliance and administration, and accounting education where he has published numerous articles. Dr. Price is also the co-author of College Accounting. As a member of the faculty of the College of Business Administration at UNT, Price has twice received the college's Outstanding Teaching Award and has also received the University's President's Council Award.

Dr. Price is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Taxation Association. Price has also served as chair of the American Taxation Association's Subcommittee on Relations with the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury. Dr. Price currently serves as chair of the Minority Initiatives Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Andrew Arellano serves as student services coordinator for graduate enrollment. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006 with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and religious studies and a minor in social science.

While in college, Arellano served as a student assistant for the philosophy department and the College of Music in Denton, and also worked at the Dallas campus. Following his graduation in 2006, he worked with a local educational non-profit doing resource development and fund raising.

As student services coordinator for graduate enrollment, Arellano advises graduate students on program options and admissions, coordinates graduate orientation and GRE/GMAT prep courses, and supports program coordinators as they conduct community recruitment and outreach.
           
Arellano plans to pursue graduate studies at UNT in either public administration of city planning and urban development. He is a member of the Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association. He hopes to one day pursue a teaching career at his alma mater.

Gloria B. Bahamon is director of student services at the University of North Texas Dallas Campus. Mrs. Bahamon oversees all student-oriented assistance programs at the Dallas Campus, which include financial aid, recruiting and outreach, student accounting, registration, admissions, advising and general student services activities.

She also assists the executive director in developing strategic plans to increase enrollment at the Dallas Campus.

Mrs. Bahamon came to UNT in 1990 and has worked in several departments including the Financial Aid Office, TRIO Programs, and most recently as the director of multicultural affairs and community relations in the Office of Equity and Diversity.

Mrs. Bahamon holds a bachelor and master of arts degree in education from the University of New Mexico and a translator's diploma from Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, Bogota, Colombia. She is a member of the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education, the Denton County League of United Latin American Citizens and the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas.

Cindy entered the Library & Information Science program in Fall 2000 and began her first library job in Circulation and Reference at the P. C. Nelson Memorial Library at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas.

After 25 years of business management experience, Cindy feels re-inventing herself as a librarian has been tremendous fun! She has worked several part-time jobs while completing her degree, including a semester at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas at the Health Sciences Library and as a student assistant at the UNT Dallas Campus Library.

Cindy graduated in May 2003 and went to work at Southern Methodist University in the Cox School of Business. She returned to UNT Dallas Campus to continue the programs as visiting librarian. She has started many projects for the library student assistants to showcase their skills and promote library services, and is thrilled to be on the UNT Dallas Campus staff and to be involved in developing the campus from the ground up.

Cindy is excited about the unlimited opportunities to be innovative in working with students, staff and faculty to facilitate their research and information needs and to market our university to the community.

Terri Bell-Wynn graduated from the University of North Texas in August 1990. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting control systems.

A native of Dallas, Terri was employed for more than 15 years with a local accounting firm, Frazier Gills and Associates, as Managing Auditor and Consultant. She has a strong background in budgeting, financial statement preparation and governmental compliance standards and regulations.

Her responsibilities at the UNT Dallas Campus include overseeing all aspects of budgeting and financial reporting. Bell-Wynn's duties also include responsibility for tracking and spending authority for budgets of the campus, maintenance of personnel and payroll records and compliance with campus, university and system procedures.

She is currently a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club as well as holding past membership with the National Association of Black Accountants. She is currently working towards certification as a Certified Public Accountant.

Janeeka is alumna of the University of North Texas. She holds a bachelors of arts in sociology. Prior to joining the Dallas Campus staff she worked at the University of North Texas in Denton in the College of Business Administration (COBA) Academic Advising Office for four years where she provided support services to students. Ms. Bills also worked for the COBA Management Department as an INET Coordinator and was responsible for organizing outreach programs to recruit full-time graduate students. At the Dallas Campus, she assists with student accounting, registration, admissions and other services.

Sarah Conrad is the senior academic counselor and coordinator of advising for the UNT Dallas Campus. Her experiences in higher education include working with advising and residence life for both public and private institutions. During her career she has gleaned student development and advising theory from her work. Her main focus in higher education is to explore ways to increase access to higher education for first-generation college students.

Angie was a member of the first graduating class at the University of North Texas Dallas Campus, completing a bachelor's degree in Spring 2002. She also earned an associates degree in 1997 from Mountain View College.

Prior to joining the staff at the Dallas Campus in May 2006, Angie was employed for over 10 years with a local graphic and web design company where she provided strong administrative support as well as graphic design services.

Alicia is the academic adviser for the College of Business at the Dallas Campus. After transferring from Southwest Texas State University in 2002, she graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor of applied arts and sciences degree, specializing in the behavioral sciences, in August 2004.

She previously advised for the College of Business on the Denton Campus, but joined the staff at the Dallas Campus in July 2006. She is very excited about the upcoming opportunities for the Dallas Campus and looks forward to being an integral part of the future university.

Katrina Cornish conducts registrar, student accounting, and room coordination functions for the Dallas Campus. She holds a bachelor's of science in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, with a concentration in management information systems.

She is currently pursuing a masters of education in higher education administration, student affairs track, to be completed by 2009.

Katrina has five years of work experience in a university setting nearly all dealing with student services. She started at the UNT Dallas Campus as an intern with the Emmett J. Conrad Leadership Program sponsored by State Senator Royce West. After completing her internship, she was hired full-time in March 2004.

Rickey holds a bachelor of arts from Paul Quinn College and an associate of applied science degree from El Centro Community College in business administration.

A native of Dallas, Rickey was employed for more than 16 years with the Dallas County Community College District and for another three years with Paul Quinn College. Rickey has a strong background in financial aid and scholarships, business services, student services and academic/career counseling.

Rickey has served on many committees and boards involving students.

Dan Eddy has served as director of community development with the UNT Dallas Campus since October 2002. He is the primary liaison between the campus and community based organizations, local governments, and regional economic development entities.

Eddy is currently a member of the Methodist Health System Board of Directors, The Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce, The Best Southwest Partnership, and The Quality of Life Foundation. While actively participating in community life, Eddy communicates the vision of the UNT Dallas Campus to community leaders in order to drive growth in the school’s physical facilities and promote enrollment.

Eddy previously served on the Board of Governors for Northwood University, was president of the Duncanville ISD Board of Trustees, and was also chairman of the Oak Cliff, Grand Prairie and Best Southwest Partnership Chambers of Commerce. Eddy has also served as past chair of Leader Southwest and the Dallas-Fort Worth Medical Center Foundation.

He is the co-founder of the Best Southwest Scholars Program and Operation Clean Sweep, and a past 'Man of the Year" in Duncanville and Grand Prairie. Eddy has been recognized for outstanding community service by numerous cites and Dallas County. In addition, Mr. Eddy has been recognized on four separate occasions by the State of Texas House of Representatives and Senate for outstanding and dedicated service to Southwest Dallas County.

Through these and his numerous other community roles, Dan Eddy works hard to reflect the UNT Dallas Campus commitment to serving the community.

Veronica Ewing, born in CA raised in Fort Worth, TX now is a resident of Arlington. She is currently the Student Services Representative at the Dallas Campus. She began as a student assistant employee March 2004 before becoming a full-time staff member in October 2005.

She entered the UNT Dallas Campus in the Fall of 2004 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in rehabilitation studies and a minor in human services. Prior to attending UNT, she earned an Associates of Science degree from Tarrant County Community College with a certificate in social work.

Prior to entering the UNT Dallas campus, she participated in Americorps for two years. She served one year as a tutor and mentor for high school students and as a Red Cross volunteer for the second year.

She is currently serving as an active member of the Staff Development Task Force at the UNT Dallas Campus.

Roger Felipe joins the UNT Dallas Campus from the UNT GEAR UP Program, where he mentored and counseled high school students in Oak Cliff about the importance of earning a college degree. He enjoys working with young adults and continues to mentor first generation college students.

A first generation college student himself, he earned a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business management from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo. After moving to the Dallas area, he earned his master of science degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of North Texas.

In addition to agricultural business, Felipe's professional career includes several years experience in the areas of rehabilitation counseling, career counseling, and working with the international, multicultural, and at-risk communities. As a recruitment specialist at the UNT Dallas Campus, his focus is to increase enrollment among nontraditional students, the Latino community, and other historically underserved groups.

Bob Hardin is an alumnus of University of North Texas where he received a bachelor's of science degree in secondary education. Bob worked at Texas Instruments for 33 years in sales and marketing. His major focus is fundraising for the Dallas Campus. He comes from an athletic background and has coached youth sports for 25 years.

Mr. Hinojosa is an alumnus of the University of North Texas. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism/public relations and a minor in business administration in December 1999, and a master's of public administration in December 2003 at UNT.

Mr. Hinojosa is responsible for coordinating the UNT Dallas Campus' recruitment, community and school relations activities to help yield enrollment at the campus and advance the mission of the institution. He has previous work experience with the Dallas Division of the American Heart Association and the Four Seasons Resort and Club at Las Colinas.

He is actively involved with the Texas Public Relations Association, American Society for Public Administration and the Dallas-Fort Worth Network of Hispanic Communicators.

Darien Moore, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, holds a bachelor of business administration degree in management and a bachelor of arts degree in performance studies, both from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

As a student, Ms. Moore participated in various student and community organizations and was chosen by School of Business faculty to be a member of the National Dean's List.

Ms. Moore has prior work experience with Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. She comes to the UNT Dallas campus with experience in a variety of areas in higher education. These areas include recruitment, student activities and organizations, academic advisement and international student advisement.

Philanda Morgan joined UNT in April 2003 as senior marketing specialist. Since then she has developed new strategies to build awareness and branding for the UNT Dallas Campus. As assistant director of marketing and communications, Philanda developed advertising campaigns that include print, radio and Web communications. She served on UNT’s branding committee, which helped re-establish the university’s mascot, school colors and word marks.

Prior to joining UNT, Philanda managed new hire communications and recruitment advertising at Texas Instruments. She also served as editor for a number of internal and external TI publications.

Philanda graduated from North Texas State University (now UNT) with a bachelor’s degree in advertising journalism, and a minor in business administration.

Police Sergeant Greg Prickett is the Dallas Campus Police Coordinator. He supervises all police and security activities at the Dallas Campus. Sgt. Prickett attended college at the University of the State of New York where he earned his Bachelors of Science with a Double Major in Political Science & Sociology, as well as his Associates in Liberal Arts.

Sgt. Prickett earned his Master Peace Officer and Police Instructor certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, Officer Standards, and Education.

Sgt. Prickett worked in patrol, criminal investigations, administration, training, and parking. He was originally employed at Denton in 1990 and was assigned to the Dallas Campus in 2004.

Laura Smith works in the Student Development Office at the Dallas Campus. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University in 1998.

Laura completed a master's in counseling with an emphasis on counseling within the university/college setting, at UNT in 2005.

Laura has student service experience in both private and community college settings in a variety of areas including admissions, academic advising, and orientation. Most recently, she worked with the Rising Star Program at El Centro College.

Laura's responsibilities at the Dallas Campus include coordinating new student orientation, career services, personal counseling, disability accommodations, tutoring and learning services, multicultural programming and student activities and organizations.

Dr. Gregory Tomlin joined the UNT Dallas Campus Aug. 20, 2007, as its first director of marketing, news and information. Dr. Tomlin oversees all marketing operations, advertising, media relations and publications.

He was formerly a national correspondent and editorial columnist for Baptist Press, the news agency of the 16.5 million-member Southern Baptist Convention. He has also written editorially for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and other newspapers around the country.

Prior to his work with Baptist Press, Dr. Tomlin was director of communications and public relations for five years with Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he oversaw alumni publications, media relations, and Southwestern News, the institution's award-winning magazine. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in church history and theology from the seminary.

Prior to joining the seminary, Dr. Tomlin was a corporate writer and co-director of policies and procedures for National Medical Systems in Little Rock, Ark.

Dr. Tomlin received a B.A. in History and English from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and has also studied at Baylor University's School of Religion in Waco, Texas. He most recently studied at Boston University's Institute on Culture, Religion and World Affairs. He enjoys studying and teaching about the intersection of faith and politics. Tomlin has taught for Southwestern Seminary and currently teaches for Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Va. He wrote his dissertation on Southern Baptist responses to American military-foreign policy in Vietnam from 1965-73. He has been to Vietnam five times.

Dr. Tomlin is a member of the American Society of Church History and the World Affairs Council of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Natasha Waters is an alumna of the University of North Texas. She graduated in August 2003 with a bachelor's of business administration degree in finance and minor in insurance. Natasha worked for UNT for 3 years as an advising assistant. After graduation she worked within the insurance industry before returning to UNT. Natasha advises current and prospective students under the College of Public Affairs and Community Service.

She looks forward to working with students and helping them expand their educational goals, career goals, and to discover the potential they have within themselves.
