"I feel very connected.”

Byron Punch - Dallas, Texas

Teacher, DISD Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities; family man

‘I love the UNT Dallas Campus.’

Mastering school, work and home simultaneously is nothing new to Byron Punch. It is the same path he followed while getting his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Byron is now on his way to earning a master’s degree in special education at the UNT Dallas Campus.

"I chose to complete my degree at the Dallas Campus because it is so convenient. It’s close to my home and my job,” Byron says. "I like the quality of the program, too.”

Byron doesn’t think his multitasking lifestyle is too much to handle, even if the tasks include making time for a wife, two sons and two "big” dogs.

"You just do it,” Byron says. "If it’s something you really want to do, you find a way.”
