You Can Make a Difference! Change the World in One Minute or Less!
Participate in Change the World in One Minute or Less on Wednesday January 20 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm in the One O’clock Lounge in the University Union and at Discovery Park!
This event will be an easy opportunity to learn how you can directly impact your local and global community through little activities that take less than one minute.
Meet student organizations who are committed to changing the world and get involved at this fun event.
Some of the activities include:
- Go Green... learn sustainability information – exchange a light bulb
- Make a difference in the life of a child – with a project for Communities in Schools
- CLICK it – learn easy clicks you can make on your computer to provide a meal, save a tree, feed an animal
- Participate in Random Acts of Kindness.. and may more
Changing the World does not have to take a lot of time. Give a minute to make a difference! Enjoy food and activities in this inspirational event! Student organizations who would like to host a table, please register here. All supplies will be provided! Space is limited to the first 25 organizations. Registration is encouraged by December 11, 2009.
