For Students

How it Works

When a student comes to the Center for Leadership and Service, he or she is asked to fill out a Volunteer Application, which gives us an idea about the demographics and interests of our potential student volunteers. Then, each one is given a current calendar of volunteer opportunities. We have two different packets, one with date specific opportunities and one with on-going opportunities. While the Center for Leadership and Service staff is always available to answer questions and provide some guidance, we require the students to actually initiate their volunteer experience by contacting the individual or agency listed.
