North Texas

The University Publication Policy and the Procurement of Printing and Copying Policy make it mandatory that any publication representing the university and intended for the general public outside the university (other than faculty, staff and currently enrolled students) be approved in advance of publication by the PAIS staff. This is to ensure accuracy of copy, wordmark usage and to convey the clearest possible image of the university. At least one week's notice (before printing) should be given to obtain such approval on a completed publication. The most advisable course of action is to bring the project to PAIS at its initiation so that correction of small details will not create delay at the end of the project.

All printed materials, whether it is let for external bids or not, must be processed through the University Printing Services or the Public Affairs Office. PAIS offers design and editorial services for departmental publications on a scheduled, by-appointment basis. At least six weeks' notice prior to printing is required; more may be necessary. PAIS is located in the Administration Building. Additional information can be found in UNT Policy Manual, Vol. II, #7.1.
