Come for a campus visit

UNT students participating in Next Generation History 2610

UNT’s Next Generation History 2610 course (U.S. History to 1865) encourages students to ask questions, make connections and solve problems. As part of a state-funded pilot project to improve learning retention, the course also is being taught at two other universities and two community colleges.

The best way to learn about UNT is to visit and tour the campus. Our walking tours include a lot of information, a visit to a residence hall and the opportunity to ask questions of a current student. Tours are scheduled several times daily, including Saturdays, and begin at the Eagle Student Services Center. For reservations, call 940-565-4104 or schedule your tour online.

Visitor's parking passes are available at the information booth in front of the Gateway Center.

And while you're here ...

A metropolitan area offers a wealth of job opportunities, plus entertainment, culture, shopping and professional sports. A college town offers a peaceful haven for study and research. UNT has the advantages of both. The university is located in Denton, a town of about 100,000 people only 36 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth, the country's fourth-largest metropolitan area.

 Discover Denton

Read how the New York Times calls Denton the "next Austin" of the indie music scene and credits that "Much of the musical genius can be traced back to the University of North Texas's College of Music".
