Parking

The only places you will be allowed to park on campus are in metered spots, the parking garage (on Welch Street), or in restricted lots with a parking permit (select Permit C and All permits on the campus map to see where you can park with a permit). The All Permit lot at Fouts Field is closest to the Gateway Center and is the recommended lot to park in. It is across the street--North Texas Boulevard--from the Gateway.

Parking permits can be obtained from the Parking Office for $3.00/day.

The Parking Office is located in the Sullivant Public Safety Center located at 1700 Wilshire Street (#58 on the campus map).   Additional parking information can be found at the UNT Parking Office website or by calling 940-565-3020.

Survival Tip! You will need a parking pass on Monday and Tuesday August 25-26 , if you park in lots designated for students. On weekends, parking permits will not be enforced.

It is recommended that you arrive to campus on Friday afternoon to stop by the Parking Office and purchase a pass.
