Parking
Traffic Alert! Please be aware that on Institute weekends there will be high school graduation ceremonies happening at the coliseum adjacent to the Gateway Center. Click here for more information.
A parking permit is
required for parking at Fouts Field Monday - Friday during the Summer Web
Institutes. No permit is required for Saturdays and Sundays.
- Students residing at Traditions Hall during the institutes will be
allowed to park free of charge at Traditions Hall. Students will
receive parking permit at the time of check-in. Traditions Hall is a
short walk from the Gateway Center.
- Other Parking: Monday - Friday parking is available on campus in metered spots, the
parking garage (on Welch Street), or in restricted lots with a parking
permit (select Permit C and All permits on the campus
map to see where you can park with a permit). The All Permit lot at
Fouts Field is closest to the Gateway Center and is the recommended lot to
park in. It is across the street--North Texas Boulevard--from the Gateway
Center.
- SLIS Web Institute students may purchase a "Conference" permit. Parking permits can be obtained from the Parking Office for $3.00/day.
Types of
Permits:
if you stay in the residence hall, you will receive a "R" permit, which entitles you to free parking at the residence hall only.
The Parking Office is located in the Sullivant Public Safety Center - 1700 Wilshire St., and may be contacted at (940) 565-3020 during regular business hours (7:30am - 6:00pm M-Th, 7:30am - 4:30pm Fri.). Additional parking information can be found at the UNT Parking Office Services website.
