Registration
Students
who wish
to participate in the Web Institute will register for the courses as
follows:
- For SLIS 5000 Introduction to the Profession.
- For SLIS 5200 Introduction to Information Organization.
- For SLIS 5600 Introduction to Information Access and Retrieval.
There are two in-state sections and two out-of-state sections
for each course.
How to reserve a seat for the Summer Web Institute:
Students accepted into the program who wish attend the summer Web
Institute must send an
online advising
memo to Toby Faber in order to be placed on the reservation list. After
receiving the advising memo, Toby will assign a seat and send each student
confirmation and registration information.
NOTE: New students MUST take SLIS 5000 either by itself or with one or
both of the other core courses (SLIS 5200 and SLIS 5600).
